Submission Guidelines & Publication Policy

International Lash Industry Magazine & Events

Purpose & Scope

International Lash Industry Magazine & Events provides an opportunity for professionals and businesses in the global lash industry to share knowledge, experience, research, technical expertise, innovations, and industry-related insights through online and print publications

These guidelines establish the requirements for article submissions, the standards used to assess submissions, and the conditions governing online and print publication

Participation in the free article publication program is subject to these guidelines and the applicable submission schedule

Eligibility & Submission Requirements

The program is open to individuals and businesses from different countries and professional backgrounds who have relevant knowledge, experience, research, or expertise related to the lash industry

Eligible contributors may include lash artists, beauty professionals, trainers, educators, researchers, manufacturers, brand owners, suppliers, distributors, authors, technical specialists, and other relevant professionals

Each participant may submit one article per submission cycle

Articles must be relevant to the global lash industry and provide meaningful professional, educational, technical, research-based, or practical information

All submissions must be provided through the designated submission process and received within the applicable submission period

Article Content & Quality Standards

Articles should be clear, informative, relevant, and suitable for an international professional audience. Submissions may
address subjects such as:s

Professional techniques, skills, and practical experience
Education, training, and professional development
Research, technical knowledge, and industry developments
Products, equipment, materials, manufacturing, and innovation
Industry trends, professional challenges, and best practices
Other subjects that contribute useful knowledge to the global lash industry

Articles should be organized logically, use appropriate language, and provide accurate information to the best of the author's knowledge

Articles are evaluated by leading medal-winning lash artists and international lash trainers based on relevance, originality, clarity, practical value, accuracy, quality, and suitability for publication

Submissions may be accepted, rejected, or returned for revision, except that submissions containing prohibited promotional content will be rejected outright and will not be returned for revision

 Originality, Sources & References

Submitted articles must be the author's original work or must be submitted with all necessary permissions from the relevant rights holders

Authors must properly acknowledge and reference all sources, quotations, research findings, images, and other materials created by third parties. Any required permissions for copyrighted materials must be obtained before submission

Plagiarism, misleading attribution, fabricated information, failure to acknowledge sources, and unauthorized use of third-party material are strictly prohibited

The author is responsible for the originality, accuracy, authenticity, and proper attribution of the submitted article, as well as for obtaining all necessary permissions. The author is responsible for any claims, disputes, or consequences arising from plagiarism, copyright infringement, false or misleading information, unauthorized use of materials, or other violations attributable to the author, subject to applicable law

 Prohibited Promotional Content

The free article program is intended for professional information and knowledge-sharing, not commercial promotion

Articles must not contain advertising, sales messages, promotional calls to action, or marketing material intended to promote the author or a third party

The following are prohibited in free article submissions: s
Promotional descriptions of a business, brand, product, or service
Sales offers, discounts, pricing, or purchase instructions
Website links, social media links, contact details, or business addresses intended to generate commercial interest
Promotional company profiles, biographies, or service lists
Advertising slogans, lead-generation messages, or other marketing content

Any article containing prohibited advertising, promotional, or marketing content will be rejected outright. It will not be returned to the author for revision or correction

If prohibited advertising, promotional, or marketing content is identified after publication, the project reserves the right to remove the article from applicable online platforms and exclude it from future print editions and reprints. Copies of print publications already distributed may not be recoverable


Paid advertising and promotional services are separate from the free article program. Purchasing these services does not guarantee acceptance of a free article

Author Information & Attribution

For articles published through the free program, the author's name will be displayed as the article's attribution

Author biographies, business profiles, company details, website links, social media links, contact information, logos, and other promotional placements are not included in the free article publication service

Any separate paid service involving these features must be arranged independently and does not change the assessment criteria for free article submissions

Authors are responsible for ensuring that the name and any professional designation they provide are accurate and that they have the right to use them

 Online & Print Publication Policy

Online Publication
Articles accepted for online publication will remain available on the project's online platform permanently, without a subscription or renewal requirement, subject to the removal provisions in these guidelines and any applicable legal or technical requirements

Print Publication
Print publication is part of the 2027 publication cycle. Articles that meet the project's print publication requirements will be included in its print publications during 2027

The project determines the print format, publication, edition, layout, publication date, and number of print runs or reprints according to its publication plans, available space, production requirements, and distribution arrangements

Print editions will be presented or distributed through relevant professional events, seminars, exhibitions, and other appropriate channels, in accordance with the project's plans
Inclusion in a specific book, magazine, collection, edition, or event is not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed by the project

The project does not undertake to reprint articles in future years. Any reprints during 2027 will be determined by the project's publication and distribution plans

Copyright & Publication Permission

Authors retain ownership of the original work they create, subject to the rights of any third parties whose materials are included

By submitting an article, the author confirms that they have the necessary rights and permissions to submit the work and authorize its publication under these guidelines

For an accepted article, the author grants International Lash Industry Magazine & Events and its authorized publishing and distribution partners non-exclusive permission to reproduce, publish, distribute, display, and make the article available through relevant online platforms, digital media, print publications, books, magazines, collections, social media channels, and suitable international publication and distribution channels

This permission includes reasonable formatting, proofreading, and technical adjustments required for publication, provided that these changes do not materially misrepresent the author's intended meaning

This permission applies to the publication and distribution of the accepted article in connection with the project. It does not transfer ownership of the author's original work to the project

Authors must disclose any restrictions or prior commitments that could affect the publication rights they are granting

Review, Acceptance & Rejection

The project may reject an article if it does not meet the required standards, contains inaccurate or unsupported claims, includes unauthorized material, or is otherwise unsuitable for publication. Articles containing prohibited promotional content will always be rejected and will not be returned for revision

The project determines whether an accepted article is published online, in print, or in both formats, in accordance with these guidelines and its publication plans

Removal & Policy Violations

The project will remove an online article if it is found to violate these guidelines, infringe third-party rights, contain materially misleading information, include prohibited promotional content, or create a significant legal or other concern

Where applicable, the project will also exclude the article from future print editions or reprints. Copies of print publications already distributed may not be recoverable

The project may correct factual or technical errors and make reasonable formatting changes. Substantive changes to an author's work may require consultation with the author where reasonably practicable

The author remains responsible for violations attributable to the author, including plagiarism, failure to acknowledge sources, copyright infringement, unauthorized use of materials, and false or misleading information, subject to applicable law

 Publication Schedule — 2027 Cycle

Registration and Submission Opens: October 22, 2026
Submission Deadline: February 28, 2027
First Official Online and Print Publications: Scheduled to begin in early May 2027

The first submission period closes on February 28, 2027. Submissions received after the deadline will not be included in the first publication cycle unless the project announces an exception

The next registration and submission period is scheduled to open on October 22, 2027, for the 2028 publication cycle. Details of that cycle will be announced separately

 Acceptance of These Guidelines

By submitting an article, the author confirms that they have read and understood these guidelines, that the information and materials provided are accurate to the best of their knowledge, and that they have the necessary rights and permissions for the submission and publication of the work

The author accepts responsibility for ensuring that the submission complies with these guidelines and applicable laws
The project may update these guidelines when necessary. Any applicable requirements will be communicated through the project's designated information channels​​​​​​​
